Taking you from Employment to Employability for Life
Looking for ways to stand out to employers and get the competitive edge?
Now's your chance to be rewarded financially for sharpening your skills while engaging in challenges and competitions with peers and industry professionals outside the classroom!
The Employability Experience Fund offers awards to students to reduce financial barriers when they want to get involved in activities that give them industry experience and develop their employability skills.
What is an Employability Experience?
Any experience that gives students an opportunity to develop their employability skills to solve everyday or industry problems or challenges, compete with others in their field of study and engage with industry professionals and experts. Some examples of these experiences are Hackathons, Skills Competitions, Industry Projects, or Challenges. These experiences are created and run by members of your Faculty or the Centre for Innovations at Humber.
These experiences are another way to put your skills into action to make you more employable. To learnmore about the Skills in Action from Humber's Learning Outcomes ( HLOs) click here.
