Devant partners with schools, universities, and career centres to give students and alumni a single platform for career development. Rather than piecing together generic advice from scattered sources, users get structured, personalised guidance that adapts to where they are in their journey, whether that's figuring out a direction, preparing application materials, practising for interviews, or building a professional network.

Career Assessments
These self-assessments help students understand what they value in a role, how they typically interact with others, and how they come across in the workplace. Each assessment takes 10-15 minutes and produces a personal report with practical, tailored recommendations.
They're useful at any career stage, whether someone is just starting out, has years of experience, or is unsure of their direction. Reflecting on motivations, preferences, values, and working style gives context for both a current role and a future career path.
Note: these are reflective tools, not psychometric instruments, and aren't intended to dictate career decisions. Students are encouraged to discuss results with a career advisor or HR professional.
LinkedIn Mini Course
A short, structured course that walks students through building an effective LinkedIn presence, led by a Devant career coach. It covers setting up a strong profile, developing a personal brand, and using LinkedIn's job board and networking features to find and pursue opportunities.
The course is broken into modules with individual tasks, so students can track completion module by module and see their overall progress toward finishing the course.
Career Pulse
A quick self-assessment that asks students to rate their confidence, from 1 to 10, across a set of statements covering core employability areas. It's designed to be answered honestly in the moment rather than researched in advance.
Results highlight relative strengths and gaps across eight core employability areas. Each area links to a related learning programme, so students can focus on strengthening their weaker areas while continuing to build on their strengths.
Resume Scanner
An automated resume review tool that checks a resume against more than 50 criteria known to trip up Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), frustrate hiring managers, or otherwise get a resume deprioritised.
Since most resumes are filtered by an ATS before a person ever sees them, this tool gives students instant, specific feedback, what passed, what failed, and why, so they can revise and resubmit until their resume is well optimised for both machines and human readers.
Interview360
A practice and preparation tool built around a large library of commonly asked interview questions, along with guidance on how to answer each one well.
Students can take mock interviews to practise responding under time pressure and receive instant feedback on their answers. The tool can also pull questions tailored to a student's own resume, and includes additional content on succeeding in video interviews, which are increasingly used in hiring.
Events
A calendar of workshops, networking sessions, and practical how-to sessions open to students and alumni. Events cover a range of topics, from career transitions and roadmap-building to subjects like immigration and work permits, and are typically hosted by career coaches, guest speakers, or outside experts.
Most events are free and held virtually, with registration required in advance so attendees receive their access link ahead of time.
