Welcome to Future Frame:
Designing Careers, Supporting Journeys
Humber's Career Education Campaign

Future Frame is designed to guide students through a fun and reflective approach to career development, to ensure that Humber students can effectively launch, discover, act, and plan for their future careers. Career education is not just about graduation - it is a process that can be built on from day 1 as a Humber student.
Built on the principles of Dr. Krumboltz Happenstance Learning Theory (2009), Future Frame empowers you to embrace uncertainty, recognize opportunity, and take intentional steps toward a fulfilling career.

Explore who you are and what's possible
In the Discovery phase, students are encouraged to reflect on their interests, values, strengths, and curiosities. Through workshops, assessments, and experiential learning, you'll uncover new possibilities and begin to see your future through a broader lens. This is where your journey begins—with curiosity and openness to the unexpected.
- Self-assessment tools

Define your direction with purpose.
Once you've explored your options, it's time to set goals that align with your evolving sense of self. Future Frame events will help you create flexible, actionable career goals that adapt to change and growth. We believe that goals are not fixed—they're frames that guide your movement forward.

Take steps. Make moves. Stay open.
Action is where discovery meets momentum. Whether it's applying for internships, building your resume, or attending career fairs. Future Frame supports you in taking meaningful steps toward your future. We encourage students to stay open to chance events and unexpected opportunities—because sometimes the best paths are the ones you didn't plan.
