The 2016 training brought advisors together from various departments and academic schools to begin a conversation about advising students at Humber. Join us as we continue the conversation, learn more about the theory and practice of advising and make connections with fellow advisors on campus.

Day 1 at North Campus

On June 7 and 8, 2016, student advisors from Humber College gathered to learn, brainstorm and share our thoughts. Here's a look back on Day 1.

Day 2 at Lakeshore Campus

Day 2 included keynote speaker Tim Fricker presenting on Academic Advising & Student Success in Canada, Alice Salamon presenting on Advising Theory, Melissa Gallo and Aisling Burke on Advising in Practice: Appreciative Advising, a Case Study and a panel (and we can't forget to mention the delicious snacks).
