About Event
During the Fall 2021 semester, we held our third Virtual Career Month. The theme was "Thriving Through Change" surrounding adapting and navigating the job market in a virtual and hybrid environment. Our career readiness event was a huge success with interactive workshops aimed to prepare students for the world of work.
Some of the activities included:
- Resume, cover letter, networking and interview workshops
- Workshops on job search and interviewing in a virtual environment
- Clifton Strengths & MBTI Workshops
- Weekly Prizes and Final Grand Prize Draw for event attendees
Also, our key events were - The Power of Self-Advocacy-Career Conversations in partnership with Seneca College (recording to be shared mid-December) and IGNITE Real Talks Event with Tiffany Haddish, Actress and Comedian.
